No. We only offer Telemedicine service Monday through Friday and patients must be a resident of Connecticut.
Please use the contact page to schedule your online appointment. You will be contacted by our staff during regular business hours to confirm the appointment.
You will need a blood pressure machine, a scale to check your weight, and a digital device (computer, phone) for our visit.
You can get your blood pressure and heart rate checked at Walmart, CVS, or Walgreens depending on where you live. You may also buy a blood pressure machine from amazon or other stores.
The Doximity app is used to communicate via phone and video, which can be downloaded on both the android and apple app stores. You would also need a digital device (computer, phone) that allows video and microphone access for telemedicine visit.
Once an appointment date has been confirmed, you will receive an email with portal access instructions to complete prior to your first appointment.
No. Everest Diabetes and Endocrinology, does not accept insurance. However, we do accept payments from HSA/FSA accounts. You may file a claim with your insurance company to potentially receive reimbursement for appointments. Insurance may cover some costs for medication and blood work depending on your coverage.
One hour initial evaluations cost $180. Follow up appointments are 30 minutes and cost $130. Cost of medications, labs, and medical testing are not included.
Yes. If you refer a family or friend to Everest Diabetes and Endocrinology, you can receive $50 off your next follow-up appointment.
Yes. Our board certified Nurse Practitioner who is specialized in Diabetes and Endocrinology will work with you 1:1 during every appointment.
A one hour detailed assessment of your medical, nutritional history will be performed to ensure you are prescribed the right medication, if indicated. You will also receive comprehensive nutrition, lifestyle habits, and exercise counseling.
Appointments may range from once every 2 weeks to once every 3 months. Follow up appointment intervals depend on patients’ goals, prescribed medication and progress.
Everest Diabetes and Endocrinology offers a holistic approach to weight loss. Utilizing medication, behavioral modification, as well as nutritional and exercise counseling can result in up to 20 lbs weight loss during the first month. Results vary by individual.
In the event that you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we ask that you give us 48 hours’ notice. All late cancellations are subject to a fee of $50.
