Text Messaging Terms & Conditions

1. Text Messaging Programs

Everest may offer two separate text messaging programs:

• Appointment and administrative messages. These may include appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling or rescheduling updates, requested follow-up notices, and limited administrative communications related to your care.
• Optional marketing messages. These may include occasional service updates, educational information, promotions, discounts, or offers from Everest.

Marketing messages are separate from appointment and administrative messages. Choosing one program does not automatically enroll you in the other.

2. Consent and Participation

Everest sends automated text messages only after receiving consent through a booking form, website form, written consent, text keyword, or another documented opt-in method. Consent is specific to the type of messages you selected.

Participation is optional. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of booking an appointment, purchasing anything, or receiving services. You may decline text messaging and still contact Everest by telephone, email, or the secure patient portal.

By opting in, you confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided and that you are authorized to consent to messages at that number.

3. Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies according to appointment activity, requested communications, and the messaging program you selected. Message and data rates may apply under your wireless plan. Everest does not charge a separate fee for text messages, but your carrier may.

4. Opting Out and Rejoining

Reply STOP to unsubscribe from a text messaging program at any time. Everest will send a confirmation of your opt-out, and no additional messages from that program will be sent unless you opt in again. A limited message necessary to confirm or process your opt-out may still be sent.

To resume messages, submit a new opt-in through an Everest form or reply START. Opting out of marketing messages does not cancel an appointment or withdraw consent to other communications you separately requested.

Do not use text messaging for urgent or emergency medical needs. Call 911 for a medical emergency. Use the secure patient portal for detailed or sensitive clinical communications.

6. Privacy

Everest never sells personal information. Mobile information and text-message opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Providers that operate Everest’s messaging systems may process information solely as needed to deliver and support the requested messages.

7. Delivery and Availability

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is not guaranteed and may be affected by your carrier, device, network availability, blocked-number settings, or service interruptions. Supported carriers and messaging features may change.

8. Changes to These Terms

Everest may update these Text Messaging Terms & Conditions periodically. The revised terms will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Changes do not eliminate your ability to opt out by replying STOP.Branford, CT 06405
